So I’m hearing really good things about Charleston, SC’s Righchus and his upcoming mixtape Black Cradles. Righchus’ last mixtape Sweetgrass & Supras, which dropped back in January 2011, made my Top Carolina Hip Hop Releases of 2011 list because it was just that dope.
Now Righchus is working with Randy Roper and the team over at Million Dollar Dreamz, and y’all know those fellas do not release wack material. Clevis Harrison, MDD’s in house photographer, is now a part of Trey Songz’ visual team (that includes photography and video), and Sam King, MDD’s in house producer, is working with the Crack Symphony and the Mad Violinist. They have more dope work on deck, but it’s not yet quite time to let the cat out the bag.
"Still Ridin" is off Righchus’ Black Cradles, which is set to be released next month. The video is directed by 5 Dollaz and you can check it out after the jump!
