This is the first time George Clinton has linked up with a hip-hop artist for a complete, new project. The goal of the mixtape is to shed light on the legal battles that Clinton and many other funk artists are currently fighting involving copyright infringement and publishing embezzlement of their music.
George Clinton recorded three new records for the mixtape. The rest of the project consists of elements from Aleon Craft’s Mothership Decatur mixtape, the Parliament-Funkedelic catalog and original recordings from both Aleon Craft and George Clinton.
