The new issue of The Niche Carolina Magazine is now available. The edition features several people from the RDU hip hop scene, including K97.5’s Nikki Nicole, Durham emcee SkyBlew, Raleigh emcee King Mez and yours truly.

Nikki Nicole has done a tremendous amount of work in building her brand and is featured as a "Leading Lady" in the Carolinas. SkyBlew’s Clouds Are My Everylasting Memories mixtape is reviewed in the new music section and received a 95-South, which is The Niche’s equivalent of 5 Mics/XXL rating.

The King Mez interview was written by yours truly. In the piece we discuss his work ethic, how an artist can utilize the internet to their advantage, the meaning of #FreshHeirs, the recent controversy on the RDU hip hop scene plus more.
