Danny! aka D. Swain is yet another artist out of South Carolina that I’m really feeling. I cannot categorize his style but it’s definately dope.
D. Swain has a new album Where Is Danny? dropping later this month of Def Jux records. In addition to rhyming Danny! is a producer with track placement on several MTV commercials. He also has production credits on some of your favorite rappers and soul artists’ projects. Last week Danny! called into the show during the Carolina feature to talk about his style and fashion sense, the new album and to discuss why even when you’re signed to a powerhouse label the grind does not stop.
